Contestants from 15 countries and regions had joined this year's competition. They were from: Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, China, New Zealand, Japan, India, Australia, Canada, Malaysia, Bulgaria, Taiwan, Germany, United Kingdom, United States of America.
